Lynda Grace Halyburton-Kilroy

October 19, 1963 – July 23, 2026

“Some people make the world more special just by being in it”

With heavy hearts and immeasurable love, we announce the passing of our Lynda Grace Halyburton-Kilroy.

Lynda was the beloved wife of Adrian and adored mother of Jon-Izaak and Joshua.  She was their greatest supporter and constant source of strength.  She led life by example showing them faith, love, tenacity and laughter.

She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Barbara Halyburton; her siblings, Gillian (Chuck), Stephanie (Cecil), and Leonie (Neil); and her sisters-in-law, Daff and Linda, all of whom cherished her deeply. She was a devoted and much-loved aunt and great-aunt, whose warmth, impeccable sense of style, infectious smile and loving presence enriched their lives.

Lynda has been reunited with her loving father, Charles, her brothers Adrian and Eugene and her sisters Pamela and Althea.  We find comfort in knowing they, along with many others are there to welcome her home.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate and dedicated staff at Toronto General Hospital.  Special thanks to Dr. Rabi for his exceptional care and kindness. In loving memory of Lynda, donations to the UHN Foundation would be greatly appreciated.  To donate please visit: Memorial page: Lynda Grace – Fundraise for UHN Foundation

Lynda joined the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Moms Group in 2016, where her love for ministering to mothers quickly became apparent. She soon became an integral part of the group, sharing her faith, compassion, and encouragement with everyone she met. The Catholic Moms Group was especially meaningful to Lynda because it brought together her deep faith and her passion for supporting mothers and families. In her memory, donations to this ministry would be greatly appreciated to help continue the work she cared for so deeply.  To donate please visit: The Catholic Moms Group.

Lynda will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Please note that donations made in Lynda’s memory have already helped our ministry provide 75 copies of our 52 Week Study Guide to moms at Sts. Peter & Paul Parish.

We at CatholicMomsGroup.com have been deeply moved by Lynda’s request, included in her obituary, that donations be made to our ministry. It has brought me to tears more than once to think that, even at such a difficult time, Lynda was thinking of us and of the work we do to support Catholic mothers.

In memory of Lynda, our ministry has committed to donating 100 copies of Your Life Is Going to Change to Sts. Peter & Paul Parish for young moms who will be baptizing their children in the coming months.

Lynda had such a heart for young mothers, and especially for the moms of the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Moms Group. We want to help keep that part of her legacy alive by continuing to reach out to and encourage young mothers in her parish.

If you would like to help us continue this work in Lynda’s memory, we would be grateful for a donation of any size. Every gift helps us place resources in the hands of mothers who need encouragement, support and the reminder that their vocation matters.
